Three days at the German Road and Transport Congress in Wiesbaden, organised by the Forschungsgesellschaft für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen (FGSV), have come to an end. We were there as exhibitors – and we are taking a great deal home with us.
What we talked about
Many interesting and insightful discussions on mobility data for transport planners and road network operators: which data are really needed for a sound decision, how surveys can be planned so that the results stand up to scrutiny – and how data protection can be built in from the start rather than added on afterwards.
Recurring topics at our stand were automatic analyses of behaviour and safety, among them red-light violations, and the question of how cycling and walking can be recorded as reliably as motor traffic.

Thank you
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions and shared their experience with us. Conversations like these are the reason we come.
We are looking forward to the next meetings – and in the meantime we are happy to continue the conversation. Get in touch if your next survey is coming up.
