How often do road users run red lights at junctions? For its “Red-light violations 2024” study, ADAC commissioned mouver to carry out the survey. In October 2024 we recorded signalised junctions in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig and Munich; ADAC published the results in early 2025.
Why video?
Red-light violations are relatively rare events. A video-based survey captures every signal phase in full and makes every violation traceable – without tracking or identifying anyone.
